The program in detail

Round table #2

Issues, Strategies, Dynamics, Perspectives

The universities in the Caribbean region are very well positioned in terms of quality and research output across various fields. However, this performance seems to be limited to the realm of fundamental research and has little impact on economic development and innovation.

How can we better value these research efforts and technological transfer to contribute to value creation in the Caribbean region and beyond? What levers should be activated? How can we inspire entrepreneurship among student-researchers?

The guests of this second roundtable, actors or individuals from the academic and research world with different backgrounds, will share their experience and present their vision on the dynamics to support and the actions to implement in order to address the aforementioned questions.
