Supporting and promoting bottom-up innovation in overseas territories
At the heart of major global transitions, les
overseas and island territories are emerging as
unique innovation labs, where intersect
cultural heritage, everyday resilience, and
cutting-edge technologies.
They constitute drivers of bottom-up innovation,
born from the encounter between ancestral practices and
emerging technologies such as AI and sustainable cloud computing
or blockchain.
For this second edition in 2025, the Caribbean Innovation Days will be as follows:
- Highlighting a virtuous ascending triangle between the Antilles, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe
- And more broadly stimulate the dynamics of overseas and island territories, reflecting diverse innovation—technological, societal, environmental, and cultural—driven by local communities and amplified by digital tools.
- The year 2025 also marks the arrival of the CID'S RETIS Winter Conference and Outremer French Tech days #3A real moment of convergence for the entire innovation ecosystem in France, overseas territories, and beyond.

An event organized by Technopole I-NOVA
The I-NOVA Guadeloupe Technopole, labelized "French Tech Community" for 2023-2025, is one of the essential levers of regional economic growth through innovation in Guadeloupe.
Chaired by Sébastien Luissaint, founder of Myditek, this association brings together entrepreneurs and partners set to transform innovative ideas into successful and sustainable companies.
Its founding members includes influential institutions such as the Regional Council of Guadeloupe, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Guadeloupe Islands, the Chamber of Agriculture of Guadeloupe, key players in higher education and research such as the University of the Antilles and INRAE Antilles-Guyane, as well as major economic players such as UDE-MEDEF and FTPE Guadeloupe.
