Round table #3
Issues, Strategies, Dynamics, Perspectives
The territories of the Caribbean region, due to their geographical location, insular specificity, and history, are exposed to various impactful factors, such as climate change, limited access to resources, distance from decision-making centers, and a unique identity positioning. A positive response to this context lies in an increasingly significant ability to experiment and develop adaptations or innovative solutions.
As a result, they occupy a strategic position in terms of experimentation spaces, with a key role to play in the dissemination, replication, and scaling of these solutions, particularly in critical areas such as tropical and equatorial zones in Africa and South America, but also on a broader international scale. This dynamic must therefore be promoted, supported, and disseminated to make these territories recognized experimentation spaces that are drivers of attractiveness and innovation.
The 3rd round table of the opening morning, through the testimonies of innovators, entrepreneurs, and representatives of major international companies, will highlight the first success stories in this area, as well as open innovation initiatives to consider in order to meet the aforementioned objectives.
