This event will showcase that the Caribbean territories are at the forefront of resilient innovation and will promote the region's talents in an international videoconference format.
In this context, a Masterclass-style workshop led by Anil MAGURU, an investor at Satgana, is organized to prepare companies seeking funding to pitch to investors.
This preparatory workshop will be followed by a real-life pitch session in front of investors, open to participating startups (provided they meet certain criteria expected by investors) and scheduled to take place after the event, in early 2025.
Startups will have the opportunity to present their projects via videoconference to qualified investors.
Criteria - Expected company profile :
- Be already established in the Caribbean region
- To be supported by the participating incubator/accelerator or by a partner organization.
- Be between 1 and 5 years old
- To have an existing market and validated technology or innovation (minimum TRL 8 and BRL 6).
- To propose a project or solution within the following priority sectors and fields.
- Agritech/ FoodTech
- Cleantech/ GreenTech
- MedTech/ One Health
- EdTech /Digital – IT – IoT
- To be interested in expanding into broader and international markets.
- A plus: developing impactful projects and solutions.
