The program in detail

Caribbean Identity and Foresight

#Session 1/3

Rooted in narrative practices, a series of 3 complementary forward-looking workshops, spread over the 3 days of the event, will allow participants, in an inspiring and engaging environment, to express themselves and share stories of experiences highlighting their commitments, skills, successes, and the shared culture that unites them.

  • The benefits of this approach are numerous:
  • (Re)building and legitimizing individual and collective identity.
  • Strengthening professional pride and the sense of belonging.
  • Opening new perspectives for action and development for a future that is wealth-creating and resilient.

Making these stories visible will create an environment where the recognition of past successes inspires the future. Such an approach sustainably establishes a culture of self-respect and respect for others, thereby fostering more harmonious working relationships and strengthened cooperation.

"Innovation is a disobedience that has succeeded..." How can we draw inspiration from this phrase to identify what we need to disobey, and thus raise the colors of Caribbean identity higher in the field of innovation?

1st Workshop of the serie: Caribbean identity

  • Intention: Reflect on Caribbean identity to better understand its DNA. How are history and collective memory the common foundation of this identity?

How is it reflected in its geographical, social, societal, and cultural aspects?

These are all questions to lay the foundations for a desired future.

  • Tool: sensibles cards
  • Modalities: A group work to highlight what Caribbean identity is and what needs to be preserved.
